Welcome to the Tinahely Ladies Juvenile home page!
The Juvenile club is now entering into its second year and is going from strength to strength. At present the Juvenile Club consists of three teams - Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16.
We have currently 41 registered players. Cost of registration is €30. We finally managed the sponsored walk of the Railway between the dreadful weather conditions which seen us cancel the walk on numerous occassions. Well done to all the girls who took part. We urge all players with outstanding sponsorship cards to return these to your trainers or members of the committee as soon as possible.
Bag Packing at Tesco's in Arklow: This took place on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd August at Tesco's in Arklow. Well done to the parents and juvenile players who helped with this fundraising event. A big thanks also to the Ladies Football Club who organised and also gave a big hand with this event. We managed to raise just over €2000 for the club and probably would of managed alot more if each and every parent and player got involved. This money will now be used to cover the remainder of the cost for this years registration. The committee will then meet to decide on how the remainder of the money is spent. Many thanks to Tesco in Arklow for allowing us to fundraise in their store. It was much appreciated.
Finally, we are encouraging all parents of the juveniles to help out the Ladies Juvenile Club by signing up to Gaelic Telecom. At this stage you should of all received your leaflets with the full information on changing over your phone line to Gaelic Telecom. Again it is an excellent opportunity to raise money for the juvenile club. Please do not hesitate to contact any committee members regarding any further information or queries you may have.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Senior Ladies Team for their involvement in promoting, developing and assisting with fundraising for the Juvenile Girls.
