A good display of football in this match but the wind did have a big say in play with both sides finding it hard to work with the blustery conditions.  Tinahely opted to play against the wind in the first half and were evenly matched until Valleymount got a goal with 10 minutes left in the first half which gave them some hope and they followed this goal up with 2 quick points to run in at half time with a score of Valleymount 1-4 to Tinahelys 0-3 however Tinahely would have the wind advantage in the 2nd half.  Valleymount won the break in the middle of the field and travelled quickly up the field and had a chance to creep further ahaed with a goal but with the ball taking a deflection off Tinahelys keeper and the rebound being put wide Tinahely breathed a sigh of relief and got their act together.  With a point followed by a goal from Lucy Mullhall saw the sides level up 5 minutes into the second half, further goals from Deirdre Healy and once again Lucy Mulhall and points from Ciara Byrne, Laura Hogan and Aine Byrne it was the ladies in red and white from Tinahely that took away full points.
