This match was a must win for the Senior lads, with a draw to neighbours Carnew and a defeat to the hands of St Pats nothing only a win would do for the lads to qualify for the next round of the Jim Coogan Hardware Championship.  The lads were slow to start off and it was the boot of Hollywoods county player Tony Hannon that had the first of the scores.  It was a slow first half with alot of chance infront of the posts put wide.  Tinahely went in at half time trailing by a point on a score line of 0-3 to Hollywood 0-4.  Whatever happened in that dressing room at half time only the lads themselves are to know but they came back out onto the pitch with belief, passion and determination and when all the lads played together they looked a very impressive side, with Tony Darcy putting through Alan Nolan for the first goal and Damien Cullen scoring the next these were killer blows to the Hollywood side.  An outstanding display from all the lads and it was great to watch some fine scores being taken and great teamwork and belief in themselves.  Tinahely drew last years county champions Kiltegan for the quarter finals in Aughrim on Sunday 13th at 4.30.  We hope the lads can carry on from that victory over Hollywood and retain that believe in themselves.  Well done lads, great performace all round.
