Tinahely Ladies travelled to Clara to play in what turned out to be harsh weather conditions.  Tinahely were first off the mark where some great football and skill was shown.  This Tinahely team formed in late 2007 and last year made their land mark by winning the Junior C Championship and League and Junior B Championship.  These players have knitted in well together and by the performance put in by every member on the panel this team will be one to watch.  This was the Ladies 3rd League match and once again were determined to come away with nothing less than full points and that is exactly what they did coming away with a fantastic victory.  The score line being 10.17 to Claras 1.0.  This was Tinahely highest registering score but with a full forward line consisting of Lorraine Dunne, Laura Hogan and Lucy Mulhall on fire as well as cente forward Lorretta Gilbert this team did not lay off the gas.  Great scores were taken by all members of the forward line and also Jackie Kinch contributed from midfield.  In the back line this great defence kept Clara out of harms way by only registering 1 goal.  Deirdre Healy and Bridget Kenny in the full back and centre back positions kept a good eye on Clara attacking players along with Sarah Hogan having a stormer of a game cleaning up the defence line.
