Tinahely travelled to Annacurra with both team looking for their first victory in the league, therefore before the whistle blew for throw in you knew it was going to be a battle.  With fine weather on the day playing conditions were good and everyone awaited for a good display of football.  With the sides level at half time 0.4 to 1.1 after Damien Cullen hit the back of the Annacurra net for Tinahely.  With Annacurra squandering several chances Tinahely put the pressure on when Damien Cullen found the back of the net once again to cancel out 2 previous points from Annacurra.  David Dillon then moved into the middle of the field from full forward where he enjoyed great possession to provide Jason Hedderman and Colm Kenny with the winning scores winning on a margin of 2 points.  Well Done Lads!!
